Overview¶
WSF_EXOATMOSPHERIC_LETHALITY computes lethality using a probability of kill (Pk) versus impact velocity and/or impact angle. If a Pk table is missing for the impact velocity or impact angle independent variable, that particular contribution is assumed to be 1.0, and the remaining contributor is the only effect. The tables are interpolated but not extrapolated past the specified endpoints.
This lethality type is not compatible with weapon_effects commands use_launch_pk, launch_pk, or intercept_pk commands, and if specified, the input parsing will fail.
Commands¶
Warning
The following weapon_effects commands are not compatible with WSF_EXOATMOSPHERIC_LETHALITY. Use of these commands will result in an input processing error.
- impact_angle_and_pk <angle-value> <pk-value>¶
Specify an entry in the Pk versus impact angle interpolation table. Any number of entries may be made. Constraints are zero to 180 degrees.
- impact_velocity_and_pk <speed-value> <pk-value>¶
Specify an entry in the Pk versus impact velocity interpolation table. Any number of entries may be made. Impact velocity must be greater than zero.
